Becoming a Member
Besides supporting SERY’s mission, becoming a member of the organisation gives you certain rights:
- To be able to participate in the organisation’s sociocultural activities, possibly as an organiser.
- To stay in the loop on organisation activities (by mail, INFO SERY information bulletins, etc.)
- To have the right, during the annual General Assembly, to offer one’s candidature for a seat on the Administrative Council.
The basic annual member’s fee is $5.00. Any additional sum is considered a contribution to the organisation. We provide receipts upon request for tax purposes.
In Person:
You may present yourself at SERY’s offices during opening hours with your membership amount (by cash only, please). It is at this time that you may complete your membership form.
By mail:
You may send your completed membership form to the following address, with a money order or a certified cheque written to “Solidarité régionale de la Yamaska.” Unfortunately, we cannot accept personal cheques or cash by mail.
