Employment Aid Services

Our Employment Aide Service is available to any immigrant having resided in Québec for a period of under 5 years. The EAS advises, assists, and accompanies such people during their job search.
In relying on the experience of our workers and their understanding of the field, the Service also offers training sessions which aim at increasing immigrants' understanding of the job market today in Québec.
Services Offered:
Group Training Sessions:
One full week of training dedicated exclusively to today's job market, but specifically adapted to an immigrant clientele. These sessions are given to each group of students upon their completion of the French-language instruction programme.
Individual Sessions:
In these meetings, an list is made of all foreign job-related competencies transferable to the context of Québec employment.
C.V. Writing (Composition):
Résumé creation services for immigrants.
Interview Readiness:
Advice and training in undergoing job interviews.
Recognition of Equivalencies:
Aid to those wishing to obtain a recognition of equivalencies:
Steps for Continuing Studies
Informing immigrants on the educational and training opportunities present in our region.
Job-Search Support:
Liaison services with potential employers to aid the immigrant in finding employment.
Post-hiring Follow-up:
The EAS assures a continued follow-up for both the immigrant and employer after a job has been begun.
