Independent Immigration - Initiation to Our Region
Yvan Paquette
The Service's Mission:
To serve as a long-distance virtual companion to the potential independent immigrant, in providing information and attracting independents to the Brome-Missisquoi and Haute-Yamaska regions. This is accomplished by promoting the area and its employment potential through attractive yet representative presentations.
From a distance, to provide answers to questions and to smooth out difficulties and apprehensions associated with one's arrival into a new region and country. To ensure that the introduction of such individuals into our region and the local employment market be done with as much ease as possible and without surprises.
These objectives are accomplished all in considering regional needs for specialised and semi-specialised jobs, as well as the job offers filed or reported by the given establishments.
Experience proves that one thing is certain: our region always comes out a winner.
Those to whom the programme is directed:
The services of the Initiation to Our Region programme are limited to independent immigrants in the process of establishing themselves in our region, be it from their country of origin, from the Greater Montreal Region, or locally, providing they have not already lived in the area for more than 5 years. Once in-region, they may take advantage of the complete array of services offered all under one roof, in collaboration with our parent organisation, SERY.
Services:
Our services are constantly being revised, improved, and are in continual evolution. For this reason, please do not hesitate to explain your needs to us, and we will consider what may be done to serve you.

In keeping with your interest in our region, you may send us your résumé by email. Once your name is in our database, we will be able to forward you any available regional job postings that you may find noteworthy.

For immigrants only, we create a database of regional job postings and distribute it by email, for specialised and non-specialised jobs. Note: You may register for the Job Bulletin service on this site.
